Week 2 Program of Events (estimated times, order and side)

• If you registered as a season entry in week 1, you DO NOT need to register again...but remember to turn in your sheet/s so that we know you are competing.
• Take advantage of BIG SAVINGS by selecting Season Entry (5 Remaining Pennants).  This will enter you in ALL events for the last 5 weeks of Pennant.  You may dive Springboard, Platform & Synchro when offered.  DO NOT pay for individual events also if you select this option.
• If you have registered for Pennant Week 2 but would like to ADD AN EVENT, contact the DV Office to Process. 
• If you competed in the 2014 Open & Age Qualifier you must compete at a minimum of Pennant Level 6 on the board you competed. (Exception 11 & Under's that meet Pennant Criteria #2 (b) )

Pennant Week 2 Summary

Venue:  MSAC, Albert Park

Registration & Event Fee:  Registration $21, $11 /event, $6 /synchro ($12 for pair)

Entry Deadline:  Sunday 7 September 2014 (11:59pm), entries are online only

Late Registration:

• By Wednesday 10 September (11:59PM)
• Registration $41, $11 /event, $6 /sychro
• Diver will compete by invitation

Dive Requirements:  2014/15 Pennant Criteria, Synchro requirements below

Eligibility:

• Divers must be registered as financial members of Diving Victoria to compete
• Diver – Level 2 divers may compete in Pennant Levels 1, 2 and 3 only
• Diver – Level 3, Diver – Level 4 and Country Divers may compete at any Pennant level
• Divers must be competing on Springboard and/or Platform to compete Synchro

Dive Sheets:  Due via Dive Recorder before 9am Thursday 11 September

MSAC Entry Fee:  Competitors & Officials: Free, Spectators: $2.50 Payable at MSAC reception

SUNDAY 14 SEPTEMBER

• Sign in from 8:00AM
• Warm-up 8:00-8:45PM, 8:45 for first event only
• Event Begins 9:00AM
• ​Catering: Whitehorse (Morning Tea)

Program will be available on the DV Website (www.divingvictoria.com.au, under Events & Results>2014/15 Pennant) the Friday of the event (order of events, side)

The 2014/15 Diving Victoria Pennant is a series of competitions suited to all levels of divers from beginners through to open; it provides competition experience and the opportunity for divers to monitor their progress through the season.  Divers must be registered as financial members of Diving Victoria to compete. Divers may compete on Springboard (either 1m or 3m) and Platform each week.  Some weeks will also offer Synchro.

There will be 6 Pennants this season the dates are:

Pennant 1.  Saturday 9 August (PM Start) 2014 – completed

Pennant 2.  Sunday 14 September 2014 – entries close Sunday 7 September + SYNCHRO

Pennant 3.  Saturday 29 November 2014 – entries close Sunday 23 November

Pennant 4.  Sunday 15 February 2015 - entries close Sunday 8 February + SYNCHRO

Pennant 5.  To Be Confirmed

Pennant 6.  Saturday 13 June 2015 - entries close Sunday 7 June + SYNCHRO

These dates may be changed as necessary

Dive Sheets are due via DiveRecorder by 9am Thursday BEFORE EACH EVENT

SYNCHRO – All Dives from 3 Metre, Boys, Girls or Combined

Synchro 4 Dives

• 2 dives from different groups @ 2.0
• 2 dives from different groups
• Must represent 3 groups
• 1 Jump or Entry allowed in last two dives only

OR

Synchro 6 Dives

• 2 dives from different groups @ 2.0
• 4 dives from different groups
• Must represent 4 groups
• 1 Jump allowed in last four dives only

Junior Elite and/or Open divers MUST choose Synchro 6 Dives, No Team or Individual Points awarded for Synchro.
