The 2016 Victorian Age Championships serves as a qualifying meet to the Australian Age Championships (14-16 April 2016, Sydney). This is one of three local competitions in which divers have the opportunity to make their qualifying score for their respective nationals. Please consult your coach before registering for this event.  Sessions 2, 4 and 6 will be the Victorian Open Qualifier, registration for this event is separate.

• MSAC, Albert Park

Competition Fee: 

• $39 Registration
• $30 per event
• $20 per synchro
• ​$20 Team Event

Entry Deadline:  

• Sunday 14 February February (midnight)
• Entries are online only via the Diving Victoria website
• Divers wishing to add an event to an existing registration before the entry deadline, Must call DV office to process (9686 7534 or 0411 863 483)

Late Entries:

• $75 Registration, $30 /event, $20 Synchro, $20 Team Event
• Divers will dive by invitation (not eligible for placing or any points) may still achieve a national qualifying score

Add an Event Late:

• Divers wishing to add an event to an existing registration after the entry deadline but before the Dive Sheet Deadline $45 /event, $35 Synchro, $35 Team Event.  Must call DV office to process (9686 7534 or 0411 863 483).  Divers will dive by invitation in that event (not eligible for placing or any points) may still achieve a national qualifying score

Late Entry Deadline: 

• Sunday 21 February (midnight)

Eligibility:

• Age is as of 31 December 2016
• Divers must be registered as financial members of Diving Victoria / Diving Australia as a Diver – Level 4, Country Diver or Coach to compete.  If you are unsure of your eligibility, please contact the Diving Victoria Office. Divers may upgrade their membership by contacting the Diving Victoria office
• Divers must be competing in an individual event to compete synchro or the Team Event

Dive Requirements: 

• The 2016 DA national qualifying standards apply

Dive Sheets:  

• Due via Dive Recorder www.diverecorder.co.uk before 9am Thursday 25 February
• Late sheets or late changes - if accepted - will result in a diver competing by invitation in that event (not eligible for placing or any points)

Spectator Entry & Fee:  

• Competitors, Coaches & Officials: Free
• Spectators: $2.50
• Payable at MSAC reception
• Entrance via the Stage 2 (Aquatic) Entrance Only

SATURDAY AM (Session 2)

• Victorian Open Qualifier (1 Metre)

Opening Ceremonies at the conclusion of Session 2 and before the Session 3 warm-up

SUNDAY (Session 3)

• Sign in from TBC
• Warm-up 45 min, 15 for first event only
• Event Begins TBC

SATURDAY (Session 4)

• Victorian Open Qualifier (3 Metre)

SUNDAY (Session 5)

• Sign in from 8:00AM
• Warm-up 8:00-8:45AM, 8:45 first event only
• Event Begins 9:00AM
