The 2014 Victorian Open Championships serves as a qualifying meet to the Australian Open Championships (12-14 December 2014, Adelaide) This is one of three local competitions in which divers have the opportunity to make their qualifying score for their respective nationals.  Please consult your coach before registering for this event.

Dates: 

• Friday 14 November – Sunday 16 November 2014

Venue: 

• MSAC, Albert Park

Competition Fee: 

• $36 Registration
• $32 per event
• $16 per synchro
• ​$16 Team Event

Entry Deadline:  

• Sunday 2 November (midnight)
• Entries are online only via the Diving Victoria website
• Divers wishing to add an event to an existing registration before the entry deadline, Must call DV office to process (9686 7534 or 0411 863 483)

Late Entries:

• $69 Registration, $32 /event, $16 Synchro, $16 Team Event
• Divers will dive by invitation (not eligible for placing or any points) may still achieve a national qualifying score

Add an Event Late:

• Divers wishing to add an event to an existing registration after the entry deadline but before the Dive Sheet Deadline $47 /event, $31 Synchro, $31 Team Event.  Must call DV office to process (9686 7534 or 0411 863 483)

Late Entry Deadline: 

• Sunday 9 November (midnight)

Eligibility:

• Age for B/C Group criteria is as of 31 December 2014
• Divers must be registered as financial members of Diving Victoria / Diving Australia as a Diver – Level 4, Country Diver or Coach to compete.  If you are unsure of your eligibility, please contact the Diving Victoria Office. Divers may upgrade their membership by contacting the Diving Victoria office
• Divers must meet the minimum DD requirements set by DV (see program)
• Divers must be competing in an individual event to compete synchro or the Team Event. 

Dive Requirements: 

• The new 2014/15 national qualifying standards apply
• When submitting sheets DV Minimum DDs apply
• In order to progress to Nationals, DA Minimum DDs must be met
• Minimum Victorian DDs apply. DV Minimums have been set at 95% of the DA B/C Group minimums.  (These DV minimums may go down for Open States if the DA minimums lower, but they will not increase)  
• In order to qualify for Nationals, DA Minimum DDs must be met

Dive Sheets:  

• Due via Dive Recorder www.diverecorder.co.uk before 9am Thursday 13 November
• Late sheets or late changes - if accepted - will result in a diver competing by invitation (not eligible for placing or any points)

Spectator Entry & Fee:  

• Competitors, Coaches & Officials: Free
• Spectators: $2.50
• Payable at MSAC reception
• Entrance via the Stage 2 (Aquatic) Entrance Only

FRIDAY (Session 1)

• Sign in from 5:00PM
• Warm-up 5-5:45, 5:45 first event only
• Event Begins 6:00PM

SATURDAY (Session 2)

• Sign in from 10:30am
• Warm-up TBC Approximately 10:30-11:30
• Opening Ceremonies Approx 11:30
• Event Begins Approx 11:45

SUNDAY (Session 3)​

• Sign in from 8:00AM
• Warm-up 8-8:45AM, 8:45 first event only
• Event Begins 9:00AM
