2026/27 Club Challenge Series: Jumpstart (Levels 1-5)

Welcome to the launch of Jumpstart!

Jumpstart is Diving Victoria's newest event initiative specifically for Club Challenge Series (CCS) Levels 1-5 participants. This is the perfect opportunity to take the plunge on your first CCS experience or to continue collecting your CCS Level Badges!

The Diving Victoria Club Challenge Series (CCS) is a popular series of competitive diving events offered throughout the Membership Year that is tailored to suit all divers throughout our Victorian community. With 10 Levels of springboard and platform events available, the CCS format provides meaningful competition experience for first time divers all the way to national level representatives. CCS event participation is open to all eligible members of Diving Victoria. 

While full-scale CCS offerings typically include all 10 Levels of springboard and platform diving: our newest Jumpstart format is different in that it provides a bespoke opportunity for Levels 1-5 participants and includes an introductory platform event (Daredevils)!

While the springboard and platform dive requirements for Levels 1-5 remain the same at Jumpstart events, the dive requirements for the Daredevils are the same as those for Level 1 Springboard. In this event, divers may perform their dives from the 3m platform and/or the 5m platform. There is no Badge or Badge Score for Daredevils and so participants may remain at this Level all the way until they are ready to move into Level 4 Platform.

REGISTRATION FEE: $25

EVENT ENTRY FEES: $20 First Board, $10 Second Board (if applicable)

If you wish to compete in two (2) Events, please select your Springboard event as your First Event. Divers must be registered in a springboard event to participate in Daredevils. 

ENTRY DEADLINE: Sunday, 6th September 11:59pm

LATE REGISTRATIONS: If you wish to submit an entry request after the Entry Deadline, please do so by emailing events@divingvictoria.com.au and including all requested events. If able to be accommodated, a $30.00 Late Registration fee will apply to all Late Registrations.

ELIGIBILITY:

• Divers must be adequately registered members of Diving Victoria in order to participate in the Club Challenge Series.
• Recreational Diver Members, Competitive Diver Members and Coach Members of Diving Victoria may compete in the 26/27 Club Challenge Series and associated events. If you need to upgrade your membership to register for this event: please log into your Member Portal and select "upgrade".
• Eligible Divers may register to compete in a maximum of two events: one (1) springboard and/or one (1) Platform event.

DIVESHEETS:
Divesheets are to be submitted via the DiveRecorder website by Thursday, 10th September at 9:00am.

• If you wish to change a DiveSheet after 9:00am on Thursday, please email events@divingvictoria.com.au and this will be completed manually. 
• If you wish to make any changes after 9:00am on Friday, a decision will be made by the event's Chief Referee. Should this change be accepted, the diver may not earn Club Challenge points for the event.

INDICATIVE COMPETITION SCHEDULE (Events and Times provided are estimates only and are subject to change once entries close): 

• 8:00am - 8:50am: General Warm Up (All athletes) 
• 9:00am - 12:00pm: Competition Events will commence. 
• 12:00pm: End of Day.

FINAL SCHEDULE OF EVENTS: A complete Schedule of Events will be distributed to all registered athletes and coaches as soon as practicable following the entry deadline.
