Diving Victoria will be delivering its nation-leading Fundamentals and Level 1 Coach Accreditation Workshops on Saturday, 12th September, 2026 at the Melbourne Sports and Aquatic Centre.

This course will be delivered over one (1) full day of learning with coach candidates able to register for one or both of these offerings depending on which national accreditation is most suitable for them and their coaching aspirations.

The renewed format and content of this Workshop will provide prospective Level 1 Coaches with a clear understanding of the fundamental principles of delivering fun, safe and engaging diving activities. The workshop will efficiently maximise in-person and at-home learning with face-to-face content delivered by our approved national course facilitators.

Registrations for this Workshop will necessarily close one (1) week prior to Course delivery to allow ample time for registrants to complete the required prior learning and participation requirements (see relevant Pre-Workshop Attendance Requirements below). To further support the timely completion of these components, access to these modules will be provided to the candidate as soon as practicable after registration.

Fundamental Coach Accreditation: Practical Skills Workshop

The Fundamentals Practical Skills workshop will run from 8:30am to approximately 12:00pm. A Workshop schedule will be provided to all registrants closer to the Workshop delivery date. This accreditation is most suitable for first time coaches with minimal experience or familiarity with diving.

Diving Australia Level 1 Coach Accreditation: Practical Skills Workshop
