VicHealth - Reimagining Health Funding

Published Tue 09 Mar 2021

Need funding support to help bring your project to life? Mark your calendars as VicHealth’s upcoming grant round opens 9am Wednesday 3 March 2021.

Reimagining Health: A VicHealth Partnership Grant aims to support local and grassroots organisations who can deliver local solutions to improve the physical and mental wellbeing of their community.  This new opportunity builds on last year’s Reimagining Health grants and will aim to deliver more support for communities in their journey of recovery from the impacts of bushfires and coronavirus.

VicHealth is offering grants of up to $3K, $10K or $50K for local organisations to support children and young people (aged 0-25 years) or Victorians experiencing barriers to good health by improving access to healthy, fresh food, creating meaningful social connection or providing opportunities for physical activity.

VicHealth are looking for ideas from a range of local and grassroots organisations, including art or cultural organisations, sports and recreation clubs, or community groups that support:

  • addressing gaps in the food system exposed by coronavirus, to build a sustainable food system that ensures all Victorians have access to healthy and affordable fresh food
  • ongoing and meaningful social connection opportunities allowing Victorians to strengthen relationships with their peers and communities, using the arts, cultural activities, and other virtual or in person gatherings.
  • opportunities to move and be physically active whether it be through structured activities and events (teams and competitions) or supporting unstructured activities (social sport and encouraging people to walk, run, ride and skate).

Applications open 3 March 2021 and close 23 March 2021. Get ahead by using the application template and view the grant guidelines on the Reimagining Health grants website
